It has become a modern archetype in society that most of the information that people put on their online dating profiles is inaccurate, and I think that my intro to this blog that I’m taking a whack at could be a very similar situation. What could I say to make you keep reading this post, and ultimately my future posts?

I could say that I am going to post a daily outfit post with the cutest, most unique, and put together outfits described in detail. I could say that I’ll grace your screen with perfectly arranged plates of beautiful, healthy food that’ll make your mouth water. I could say that I will post wonderfully articulate and clever thoughts on current events and pop culture that’ll have you laughing for hours.

I could say all of that, but the last thing that I want to do is leave you feeling catfished by my blog; I’ll start off by telling the truth.

I am a 19 year old that won some sort of karma or luck lottery and gets to study at the greatest school, Tulane University, in the greatest city, New Orleans.  While I am obsessed with fashion, it’s my favorite form of communication, I definitely tip toe on the line of dressing too uniquely. I am allergic to most of the beautiful and healthy foods, so don’t expect too many foodstagrams of that nature. Besides, I appreciate the curves of a chocolate donut or chunkiness of a chocolate chip cookie more than I’d like to admit. What can I say? I embrace real beauty. I am obsessed with my family, my friends, my dogs, singing, shopping, and all forms of art.  I’m an anxious, over-emotional, and highly opinionated person that occasionally feels better after writing down long narratives about nothing, that will most likely not be read by anybody.

This blog will be home to my thoughts, presented in my style, written for me as my stress relief.
